Normally you have a strict dress code at Irish Dance schools. This means after the starter class you need to have:
as female dancer:
Soft shoes or also called Pumps and Hard shoes or known as Jig Shoes, (T-)Shirts, shorts or knee short wide skirts and Poodle socks, knee length white dancing socks.
as male dancer:
T-Shirt, Shorts, black socks, Hard shoes and from the age of 10 on Boys Reel Shoes, the soft shoes for male dancers
The best way to avoid problems is to dress in our "school uniform" which contains, personalized shorts and personalized T-shirts (see Links for our source). Track suits and other school accessories can be ordered there as well.
